1. Loosen and unvelcro/unhook all the adjustable straps & attachments.
2. Stand up straight and get in your best posture(standing against a wall helps).
3. With your best posture put the brace on and Velcro/tighten/hook any straps so that the brace has a small amount of tension/tightness against your body.
***Wear the brace/corrector on top of a shirt for increased comfort.
This is how you should wear the brace when you first start. When your body gets tired of holding that position the brace will feel tighter which is a reminder that you need to straighten up and maintain your posture. The posture corrector helps by providing this firm support, so you should make sure that you’re not over tightening posture correctors. It should not be so tight that it is uncomfortable to wear. Sizing could be an issue if it is too tight from day one. Over time you can tighten the posture corrector to further achieve better posture.
The purpose of posture correctors are to train your muscles so that they stay in the proper posture. The more you use it the better your posture will be. It took many years to develop your posture, don't expect results overnight. Even the best posture corrector can’t work miracles, but it can help your own posture improve - over time. Consistency is key to improving your posture and before you know it you’ll be standing tall!
Start with wearing the posture brace 15-30 minutes a day. If you feel painful aches or throbs in your shoulders or upper back, or are tired from wearing the brace, even while sitting down, take it off and wear it again the next day or two. Gradually keep adding more time until your body gets used to the corrected posture position.
Hand wash or cold water on a gentle washing machine setting is recommended. Hand wash in cool water with mild soap. Remove excess water and air dry away from heat. Don't iron and don't dry the brace in the dryer.

Got a sore back? You’re not alone. Plenty of people suffer from sore upper or lower backs, and the truth is that it’s most likely due to poor posture. Sure, you can try to correct your posture yourself, but you’ll likely forget after a few minutes and start slumping in your chair again. That’s not going to get you anywhere fast, is it? That’s why we recommend a good posture corrector to do the work for you!
A posture corrector is an excellent tool for correcting bad posture over time, as poor posture habits can lead to back pain, neck pain, and pain in your shoulder blades or core muscles. Posture braces provide support for long periods of time, helping you stop slouching by keeping your back and neck in proper form. This results in the good posture you need to avoid neck and back pain, pull your spine into its natural position and proper alignment, and support better overall health and energy levels.
Posture correctors accomplish this by quite literally forcing your body into the right position with shoulder straps so that your spine, your shoulders, and your upper and lower back and chest muscles are where they should be. Over time, and with enough use, a posture corrector can help retrain your body by creating muscle memory, which means that even when you take the posture corrector off, your body will automatically assume the position it’s been in because it’s become accustomed to being there over a long period of time.
This is why these products are so popular, especially since proper posture is a great way to help relieve back and neck pain. With so many of us spending so much time sitting down for work in front of a computer monitor, it’s all too common to find that we’ve been hunched over a keyboard for hours - and that creates the kind of poor posture that can lead to pain, discomfort, and even serious health problems. That’s why we always say that good posture starts with choosing a posture corrector!
That being said, the idea of getting good posture from just having a posture corrector and actually wearing a brace posture corrector properly are two different things. Most people have never worn posture correctors before, and it’s all too easy to put one on incorrectly if you don’t know what you’re doing. Posture correction only works if you’ve got it on right, after all - even the best posture correctors won’t work as they’re supposed to if you’re not using them the right way. Not only that, but wearing a posture corrector incorrectly for extended periods of time could result in you doing more damage to yourself than not.
The last thing you need is to end up having to see a physical therapist because you were using a posture trainer but you ended up wearing your back brace wrong. Avoid having to go to physical therapy for a compressed spine. Rely on our expert advice and instruction so you can then learn how to wear a posture corrector safely and effectively - the right way!
